Kate visited Evelina London Children’s Hospital to participate in an art workshop in partnership with the National Portrait Gallery. The National Portrait Gallery and Evelina London are both patronages for the Duchess of Cambridge. The event combined art therapy with mental wellness during medical treatment for young children, and Kate took part in crafting and art activities alongside the little ones.
Kate wore a classic tweet skirt suit from Dolce and Gabbana for the event. The suit features a longer jacket and twirly a-line skirt, a style that balances the timeless nature of the tweed fabric. Block heels allowed the Duchess to get down with the little ones. Her Mappin & Webb ‘Empress’ necklace and earrings added a touch of sparkle, but Kate left her large engagement ring at home for health and safety reasons.
